In order to view the downloads on your computer, you will need to download the free
Apple Quicktime player, which works with both Windows and Macintosh computers, at
www.apple.com/quicktime.
For playing back video on our website, you will need to download the free Flash
player, which works with both Windows and Macintosh computers, at
www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer.
To access your account, click on the My Account link on the top navigation bar. Accounts are completely free.
After purchasing a download, you can access it by clicking on the My Account link
and selecting "View My Downloads", or you can simply click on the "My Downloads"
link below the main navigation bar.
You will then have access to all the downloads you purchased. You can then
click on the Download button to save the entire file to a location on your hard
drive, or click on the Play button to start playing back the file directly on
our Medici Classics Theater. There are no expirations and you may access and download the
files as many times as you wish.

A download is an audio or video file which is an electronic version of a CD or DVD. Instead of having to wait in the mail for a disc to arrive,
you can start playing back the file directly on our Medici Classics Theater or downloading it into your computer. For more instructions on how to do this, please read the sections below.
On this website we offer two ways to view your purchased downloads: Play and Download.
By using the Play feature, you are able to start playing back the file directly
on our Medici Classics Theater without having to download the entire file into your computer first,
which can take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes if you are on a high-speed connection.
To initiate Play, access the My
Downloads page by clicking
here. Then,
click on the Play button for your selected file. After making your selection,
you will be taken to our Medici Classics Theater which will start playing the file
automatically.
With the Download feature, you can save the file to your hard drive
for computer desktop playback using the free Apple Quicktime player. To initiate Download,
access the My Downloads
page by clicking
here. Then, click on the
Download button for your selected file. A dialog box will pop up asking you to
Open or Save the file. Hit Save, and then choose a folder on your hard drive to
save the file to that location.
On some browsers like Apple Safari and Google Chrome,
you will not see this dialog box. Instead, after clicking on the Download button,
the file will atuomatically be saved to your hard drive on a location you specified
in the browser's preferences.
Once the file has downloaded into your computer, you then have the option of burning the
file directly to a CD (for audio) or DVD (for video). For more information regarding
on how to do this, please see the section below, "Burn Download to CD or DVD".
If your file type is audio, you can burn it to a CD. For Windows computers, you can use Windows Media Player; for Macintosh computers,
you can use iTunes. Both of these programs are already installed on the operating
systems, so there is no need to purchase any additional software. For instructions
on how to create the CD for Windows machines, click
here. For Macintosh computers, click
here.
If your file type is video, you can burn it to a DVD. You will need to purchase and download Aimersoft DVD
Creator. To download this program for Windows computers, click
here. For Macintosh computers, click
here. Once you have purchased the program, click
here for detailed instructions on how to create the DVD if you are
using a Windows computer, or click
here if you are using a Macintosh computer.
You will need to save the file to your computer first before attempting
to burn. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please read the previous section on how to download the file to your computer.
